AGRA researchers explore the Parliamentary Archives

A party of Members and Associates took the opportunity to discover what is available for genealogists.

On Wednesday 28 June a party of AGRA researchers visited the Parliamentary Archives at the Houses of Parliament, Westminster, London. A tour was organised by two of the archivists who showed the group various parts of the archives which are situated in St Margaret’s Tower, including the well that overlooks one of the entrances to parliament, the reading room and one of the rooms where various Acts of Parliament are kept.
