ARGA researchers get the inside track on the Ancestry website
The South East Network Group met at the London offices of Ancestry on 8 December 2017. We were hosted by Debra Carter, one of our group who works for Ancestry ProGenealogists. We had a good attendance – about seventeen of us were at the meeting. After the usual business notices, updates and discussions, Debra gave an interesting presentation on some of the less well-known features of the Ancestry website. These included the advantages of "public" versus "private" security settings, customising the home page for increased efficiency, checking "hints" and "Gallery hints", and utilising DNA results.
