I worked as a professional researcher for over 10 years, during which time I was honoured to serve as a Council Member, and Chair of AGRA.
I came to genealogy research work after retirement ( from a police career in London), I also spent some time as a deputy registrar in Buckinghamshire dealing with all aspects of recording births, deaths and marriages.
Whilst no longer taking on research projects, I am happy to give help and advice on any aspect of civil registration – a subject that is much more complex than most researchers realise. I have a particular interest in complex cases involving re-registration and corrections.
