Diane Halford MA has been researching family history since 2016. She is a qualified Adult Education Tutor and teaches both digital skills and Family History for a local authority. She has a keen interest in the historical figure of Ann Walker and has made over 40 archive visits around the UK as well as founding a research collective and website called In Search of Ann Walker to publish historical findings online. She has given over 10 public talks on her research findings. She received international acclaim for uncovering the diary of Ann Walker in an archive in October 2020.
