Kathryn Burtinshaw

I am a qualified professional genealogist, family historian and tutor in genealogy with the University of Strathclyde. I regularly lecture on family history topics and have co-authored two books on mental health provision and asylums in nineteenth century Britain. 

I have attained a M.Sc. in Genealogy, Palaeography and Heraldry from the University of Strathclyde and also completed an Advanced Diploma in Local History with the University of Oxford.
