I happily research individual families and properties. I also have considerable experience in researching WW1 military personnel and local history projects.
I am totally flexible I will do the research for you or if you just need advice, help with a brickwall that's fine too. I undertake small or large commissions and I am also available for individual or group tuition, Cumbria is a very large county and I can help you to plan your family history tour and lead it if required.

It was also a revelation to find out that my grandfather had two brothers - the three of them served in WW1.
