Eilir Ann Daniels BA (Hons)
Professional genealogist and family history tutor, specialising in Welsh ancestry, tracing living relatives and probate research.
Eilir has been a professional genealogist for over a decade now and has over 30 years' experience of family history research, having gained her BA (Hons) degree from the University of Wales in 1993 (studying social and cultural aspects of industrial society from the 18th century onwards).
She is the Wales columnist for British Connections, the journal of the International Society for British Genealogy & Family History (ISBGFH), and presents talks on Welsh family history topics for the ISBGFH's Winter Webinar series. She is also a Pharos Tutors instructor and teaches its online Welsh genealogy course.
Eilir also carries out research for radio and TV programmes in Wales and the UK, including regular research for the BBC's Who Do You Think You Are? series.
She is a native and fluent Welsh speaker and is able to provide clients with a Welsh-English document translation service.
