Hello, my name is Fiona and I am a passionate historian/genealogist based in the East of England.

Having received a BA hons in History and Religion from the Open University, I went on to study for a P.G.C.E at The University of East Anglia. However, after ten years in the classroom, I decided to pursue my love for family history.

I started researching my own family in 2012 when I inherited a large chest of heirlooms from my grandparents. From that moment, I was hooked and I needed to know more about where I came from and who came before me. These days, I love sharing my passion for genealogical research and heritage studies with my clients.  

My own family history covers East Anglia, North East England and Ireland; however my client research has taken me all over the U.K.

I love sharing knowledge with people and my teaching experience allows me to offer clients a warm, supportive first-class service. I combine detailed genealogical research with expert report writing and immersive storytelling, transforming historical records into vivid, factual accounts that make your ancestors' lives feel real and relatable.

I am a member of a number societies including: The Society of Genealogists, Suffolk Family History Society, Cambridgeshire & Huntingdonshire Family History Society as well as being an associate of AGRA (Association of Genealogists and Researchers in Archives). In my spare time, I run on the committee for my local museum and constantly update my genealogical knowledge through C.P.D courses including the Intermediate Certificate in Family History Skills and Strategies with Pharos Tutors.
