Located in the West Midlands, I am ideally situated to access the historic counties of Staffordshire, Warwickshire and Worcestershire and beyond. I have practical experience with using numerous private, public, local, national, and international archives.
As my own family grew, so did my interest in family history, which was enhanced by completing the Institute of Heraldic and Genealogical Studies (IHGS) correspondence course, and culminating in the IHGS Diploma in Genealogy.
I now run my own genealogy business, Four Oaks Genealogy, based in the West Midlands, from where I conduct research for clients from around the globe. My voluntary role as the Editor of Midland Ancestor, the journal of The Midland Ancestors, helps serve the principal family history society for the counties of Staffordshire, Warwickshire and Worcestershire.
