The AGRA South Central Network Group held an online meeting on 24 February 2026.  

Group member and IHGS Tutor Ann Ballard gave a well-received talk about finding heraldry in local archives, which included photographs of elaborate and detailed grants of arms which Ann had found on her visits to repositories.

The SC Group have agreed to organise the Autumn Study Day this year and venues were discussed, with the likely venue agreed as the Mary Rose Museum in Portsmouth in early September.  An organising group is being established, led by Sarah Pettyfer.

Future events were discussed including visits to the D-Day Museum in Southsea in April and the Weald and Downland Museum near Chichester in July. Please contact Sarah Osborne - agrasouthcentral@gmail.com for further information.
