I am a genealogist / family history researcher based in Sussex. Compassionate candour, an inquisitive nose, persistence and a good ear are qualities I believe I possess to help you with your family history enquiry with discretion and humour.
As each and every case I work on throws up its own challenges, I do not offer packages and prefer to build a proposal for you to suit your family and needs. I particularly enjoy working on family trees and digging below the surface to see how an individual might have lived. I have some good success finding people that "went missing" and knocking down brick walls.
I reguarly visit West Sussex Archives and other archives when necessary and belong to numerous local family history socities around the country. I have also travelled to most corners of the UK to photograph houses, gravestones & memorials and sometimes simply to walk along the streets to soak up the history and atmosphere of where a client's family lived.
