I am a qualified genealogist, here to help you trace your ancestors and provide fully researched details of their lives. My research may tell you where your ancestors were born, where they lived, who they married, where they married, details of their children, where they died or where they were buried.
If you have hit a brick wall and have tried the usual online resources, I can search other archives and less well-known records to try and progress your research.
I am experienced in researching records at the National Archives, local record offices and the main libraries and archives in London. If you need a look-up or bespoke research, I can help.
I am a qualified copy-editor, proofreader and indexer, and have helped people with their manuscripts, reports, books and dissertations since 2007. If you have written your family history and need a second pair of eyes to make your work consistent in terms of grammar, punctuation and spelling, I can help. I have worked for several authors who have published their books, and authors who have written journal articles and reports. I have worked for several large publishers including Bloomsbury, Cambridge University Press, Manchester University Press, Macmillan, Taylor & Francis, Edward Elgar, Cengage, and Boydell.
Finally, I am a member of various organisations in addition to AGRA, including the Institute of Heraldic and Genealogical Studies (IHGS), the Register of Qualified Genealogists (RQG) and the Chartered Institute of Editing and Proofreading (CIEP). I am a Committee Member (webmaster) for the Romany & Traveller Family History Society (RTFHS), a member of the Heraldry Society, and a member of various family history societies including Midland Ancestors, Lincolnshire FHS, and the East of London FHS.
