My bespoke research into your family tree, and events in the lives of your family members, gives you the chance to get to know your ancestors better than ever before.

I am passionate about researching and rebuilding family links, drawing together the threads of family information to be found in historic records and revealing the relationships that have become hidden from view.

Offering individual consultations, your research is personalised to tell the story of your family including genealogical details such as births, marriages and deaths along with wills, newspaper extracts, educational and professional details together with local history, allowing you to picture your family in their own historical setting.

I hold the University of Strathclyde Post Graduate Certificate in Genealogical, Palaeographic and Heraldic Studies and the Diploma in Local History from the University of Oxford and draw on each of these for my research into the lives of your ancestors.

Focussing on the stories and detail that you are interested in, my family history reports present the history of your family in an attractive, clear and easy to read style, which is fully referenced.

I am skilled in reading and transcribing old documents such as Wills, which reveal so much about the concerns and worries that were most important in the last weeks or even days of a person’s life, as well as their financial status, family relationships and, if you are lucky – the contents of their homes!

Located in North West Kent, I am within reach of archives in Kent and London. I am an active member of the North West Kent Family History Society, with extensive knowledge of the local areas of South East London and Kent.
