
Susie Douglas is an award-winning, qualified Professional Genealogist, Local Historian and Writer. She has an MLitt with distinction in Family and Local History from the University of Dundee. Her dissertation, 'Food for Thought', challenged long-held beliefs surrounding the 1513 Battle of Flodden. It achieved the highest mark possible and won the Paul Duller Prize.
While research areas cover both Scotland and England, her passion and speciality is the fascinating and unique history of the former ‘Marches’ of the Scottish Borders and Northern England and its people and places.
